Stars to Reopen
Great News Everyone!!
Stars will be reopening on Monday 12th April 2021
for pupils aged under 18 and from Monday 17th May for all pupils over 18.
We will finally be back dancing.
Lessons will be held at Shipley Salvation Army Halls
Yippee!!
See you all soon,
Mrs M x

Hi everyone.

Please read carefully.
Ok so there’s good news and bad news...
The good news is Stars will reopen on Saturday 9th January 2021 @10am for all pupils that attend primary school. Sadly, while we are in Tier 3, adults are not allowed to attend group ‘exercise’ classes, this is only permitted in Tier 2 and below, so adults tap will not be running until further notice and any pupils who attend other classes who are aged 18 and over cannot return unless they have been given their Covid vaccine, is a Saturday assistant or we drop into a lower Tier.

Also w/c 11th January, pupils that attend secondary school will not be allowed to return to Stars until they have returned to school and have provided a negative Covid-19 test, starting with Y11, Y13 & any ‘keyworker’ children who have returned to their secondary school followed by the remainder of pupils returning w/c 18th January once a negative result has been provided.

I’m looking forward to finally seeing everyone again and hoping for a better 2021. Any questions please ask.

See you all soon. Mrs M x
Yet again I am the bearer of bad news.
Sadly Stars will not be opening now until Monday 4th January 2021. Have the best Christmas you can possibly can.
See you all in January
Mrs M x

Great news!!
From Monday 2nd November, Stars will be returning to Shipley Salvation Army YP Hall.
We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone at Windhill Community Centre for accommodating us for the past month and for all your help and kindness.
Please check our timetable and risk policy before we recommence on Monday.
Looking forward to seeing everyone after the
half term break.
Mrs M x

As of Tuesday 22nd September, Stars Stage School will be re-opening and moving until further notice to WINDHILL COMMUNITY CENTRE, CHURCH STREET, BD18 2NR. So excited to see everyone again. Mrs M x
Cancelled

Sadly I have made the decision to cancel ALL events for this year
There will be no....
Showcase 2020
November Examinations
Christmas Performance
Post Covid-19, the way we use the hall will change a lot to begin with, therefore it will be for the best that we do not hold any events until 2021
Sorry for any inconvenience caused

COVID-19

The IDTA is monitoring the situation around COVID-19 which at the moment is considered a moderate risk by the UK's Chief Medical Officer. As a private dance school, we will be following the Governments guidelines and if school closures happen, it is most likely that Stars will also have to close if any pupils begin to show signs of the virus.

Good hand hygiene is vital in reducing the spread of the virus. Wash hands with soap and water often or use of hand sanitiser. If any pupils are feeling ill and/ or display the symptoms of a cold, please consider staying away from the halls and inform Stars straight away on 07732328322.

Signs and symptoms of COVID-19

The following symptoms may develop in the 14 days after exposure to someone who has the COVID-19 virus
~ cough
~ difficulty breathing
~ fever
~ loss of taste and/ or smell
If you are worried about symptoms, please call NHS 111. Do not go directly to your GP.

A message from Mrs M.

Hi all, I hope you are all coping with the recent changes in our world. I've had a few messages from some of my Stars saying how much they are missing dancing right now, as am I too. Hopefully it won't be too long before we are back to going about our day to day lives, but in the meantime keep on practising and stretching and hopefully our Showcase 2020 will still go ahead as planned. If it doesn't, we will postpone it and rearrange it for after the summer, so all your hard work won't be in vain.
Poppy has talked me into doing a daily TikTok dance with her, which I will post on Stars Facebook pages, and I will also be putting some challenges on there for you to try, so keep a look out. If you want to send me any pictures or videos of you practising, stretching or something the other Stars might be interested in, then please do, I'd love to see what you are up to as I'm missing you all dearly.
Keep on shining line the stars you truly are.
Lots of Love xx

Well done to Traci and Mel who received Stars Highest Examination Result Trophies for our exams in
November 2019.
Look out for them dancing a duet in our Showcase in July
Below is the Timetable for our up and coming exam session and also dress code. Please note if pupils wear the incorrect uniform, I will not be allow them to enter the session.
Please check in plenty of time if all uniform is correct.
Thanks. Mrs M.
