What ages do we cater for?
Beginners Ballet is for children ages 3-5 years old and is a perfect starter class for the budding ballerina.
Performing Arts is available from the age of 5 years, (Ballet & Tap combined in a 1 hour lesson). Freestyle from age 4 and Modern Jazz from the age of 5.
What is our aim?
Our aim is to bring quality teaching to ALL our pupils and students. We care about the standard of individuals, and have as much enthusiasm with those who find it difficult, as we do with the most talented.

Examinations
At 'Stars' we have had many exam sessions in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Freestyle all with a 100% pass rate. These sessions are usually held once a year. A Presentation Day is held after each examination session.
Shows
As a stage school we like to encourage all pupils to
take part in our productions, but this is not compulsory. At Stars we put on 2 shows a year. Summer Showcase at the end of the academic year and a pantomime at Christmas. Small groups of pupils are also chosen to represent our school at galas, fun day's and fates during the summer months.
Student courses
This is by invitation only. These courses offer ballet, tap and jazz lessons to pupils who show talent, commitment and a positive attitude in all subjects. Students are required to attend more than one day per week and the standard is very high. Keep practising and see if you can make the grade!
What to wear
Please obtain our uniform, which can be purchased through the school at reasonable prices. Initially, shorts/ leggings and a t-shirt are acceptable, with outdoor shoes for tap and bare feet for the rest of the classes. You should know within a month if your child is enjoying their classes, we then encourage you to start buying items until the whole uniform has been obtained.
We also sell t-shirts, hoodies and joggers with our school logo on, ideal for travelling to and from class in. Again these can be ordered through the school.
To view all our policies, please go to the policies tab on this website.
